This 6-Day course focuses on the duties and responsibilities of the emergency response personnel who will assume the incident commander (IC) role in hazardous materials emergencies above the initial response and will implement a national incident managements system (NIMS) -Based incident command system (ICS).

Accepted student will be required to complete this additional self-study course, prior to attending this course:
IS-201: Forms Used for the Development of the Incident Action Plan
Emergency management personnel must be certified by their jurisdiction as part of the EOC staff
There will be a $30 AZCFSE certificate fee per attendee, payable by departmental check, cashier's check or money order, which will cover an AZCFSE state Certificate of Completion and a record in the online (ERMA) database. The $30 fee will be collected at the time of the course.
