Notice of Public Hearing - Consolidation of Fire Districts

The Rio Rico Medical & Fire District us proposing a consolidation with the Nogales Suburban Fire District to form a single, unified fire district. this consolidation aims to enhance public safety services, improve operational efficiency, and ensure a stronger more sustainable future for emergency response in our community. 

As required by Arizona law, we are notifying all property owners withing both fire districts that a public hearing will be held to review and explain the consolidation process, gather community input, and answer any questions.

Last week, thousands of notification letters were sent. However, it has come to our attention that some of the letters were mismatched—specifically, certain property owners received letters addressed with incorrect names or mailing addresses. Please note that not all letters were affected by this issue.
