Once a child outgrows a car seat at about age five and 40lbs, a booster seat can help position your child so the lap/shoulder seat belt fits them correctly. RRMFD offers FREE carseats to residents who qualify. Stop by our Admin Center with your child during normal business hours or give us a call for more details! Oh...and did you know that all children should ride buckled up in the back seat until age 12?

Rio Rico Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Rio Rico Fire District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
